A Little Scroll

 

Rev. 5:1 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) I saw (eidon), upon (epi) the (tēn) right (dexian) of the one (tou) causing himself to sit down (kathēmenou) upon (epi) the (tou) throne (thronou), [a] little scroll (biblion) having been written (gegrammenon) inwardly (esōthen) and (kai) behind (opisthen), having been stamped down (katesphragismenon) [with, AE] seven (hepta) seals (sphragisin).

 

The Seven Seals of The Little Scroll

 

Rev. 5:2 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) I saw (eidon) [a] strong (ischuron) messenger (angelon) preaching (kērussonta) in (en) [a] great (megalē) voice (phōnē), “Who (tis) [is] one worthy (axios) to open up (anoixai) the (to) little scroll (biblion), and (kai) to let loose (lusai) the (tas) seals (sphragidas) of it (autou)?”

 

Rev. 5:3 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) absolutely not one (oudeis) was being inherently powered (edunato), in (en) the (tō) heaven (ouranō), but absolutely not (oude) upon (epi) the (tēs) land (gēs), but absolutely not (oude) down under (hupokatō) the (tēs) land (gēs), to open up (anoixai) the (to) little scroll (biblion), and absolutely not (oute) [one, RE] to look at (blepein) it (auto)!

 

Rev. 5:4 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) I was weeping (eklaion) much (polu), because (hoti) there was found (heurethē) absolutely not one (oudeis) worthy (axios) to open up (anoixai) the (to) little scroll (biblion), and absolutely not (oute) [one, RE] to look at (blepein) it (auto)!

 

Rev. 5:5 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) one (heis) out (ek) of the (tōn) elders (presbuterōn) says (legei) to me (moi), “Do not weep (mē klaie).  

 

Behold (idou), the (ho) Lion (Leōn) has conquered (enikēsen), the one (ho) out (ek) of the (tēs) tribe (phulēs) of Judah (Iouda), the (hē) root (rhiza) of David (Dauid), [the Lion, RE] [is] [inherently powered, v3, RE] to open up (anoixai) the (to) little scroll (biblion), and (kai) the (tas) seven (hepta) seals (sphragidas) of it (autou)!”

 

Rev. 5:6 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) I saw (eidon) in (en) [the] midst (mesō) of the (tou) throne (thronou) and (kai) of the (tōn) four (tessarōn) living things (zōōn), and (kai) in (en) [the] midst (mesō) of the (tōn) elders (presbuterōn), as (hōs) [a] little lamb (arnion), one having stood (hestēkos) having been slaughtered (esphagmenon);

 

it having (echōn) seven (hepta) horns (kerata) and (kai) seven (hepta) eyes (ophthalmous), which (hoi) are (eisin) the (ta) seven (hepta) Spirits (pneumata) of the (tou) God (theou) having been sent (apestalmenoi) into (eis) all (pasan) of the (tēn) land (gēs).

Rev. 5:7 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) [the] [little lamb, v6, RE] came (ēlthen), and (kai) it has taken (eilēphen) [the little scroll, v5, RE] out (ek) of the (tēs) right (dexias) of the one (tou) causing himself to sit down (kathēmenou) upon (epi) the (tou) throne (thronou).

 

Rev. 5:8 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) when (hote) it received (elaben) the (to) little scroll (biblion), the (ta) four (tessara) living things (zōa) and (kai) the (hoi) twenty (eikosi) four (tessares) elders (presbuteroi) fell4098 (epesan) in sight (enōpion) of the (tou) little lamb (arniou), each one (hekastos) holding (echontes) [a] harp (kitharan), and (kai) golden (chrusas) bowls (phialas) being fully loaded (gemousas) of incense (thumiamatōn), which (hai) are (eisin) the (hai) prayers of well-thankfulness to4335 (proseuchai) [God, v4:11, RE] of the (tōn) holy ones (hagiōn).

 

Rev. 5:9 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) they sing (adousin) [a] new (kainēn) ode (ōdēn), saying (legontes), “You are (ei) one worthy (axios) to receive (labein) the (to) little scroll (biblion), and (kai) to open up (anoixai) the (tas) seals (sphragidas) of it (autou), because (hoti) you were slaughtered (esphagēs);  

 

and (kai) for the (tō) God (theō) you went to market to buy (ēgorasas), in (en) the (tō) blood (haimati) of you (sou), [holy ones, v8, RE] out (ek) of every (pasēs) tribe (phulēs), and (kai) tongue (glōssē), and (kai) people (laou), and (kai) ethnic group (ethnous).

 

Rev. 5:10 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) for the (tō) God (theō) of us (hēmōn) you made (epoiēsas) of them (autous) [a] Kingdom (basileian), and (kai) [for them, RE] [to be] sacrificial priests (hiereis)!  

 

And (kai) they shall be kings (basileusousin) over (epi) the (tēs) land (gēs).”

Rev. 5:11 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) I saw (eidon), and (kai) I heard (ēkousa) [a] voice (phōnēn) of many (pollōn) messengers (angelōn) circularly around (kuklō) the (tou) throne (thronou), and (kai) of the (tōn) living things (zōōn), and (kai) of the (tōn) elders (presbuterōn), (and (kai) the (to) number (arithmos) of them (autōn) was being (ēn) ten thousands (muriades) of ten thousands (muriadōn), and (kai) thousands (chiliades) of thousands (chiliadōn)),

 

Rev. 5:12 (LIT/UBS4) saying (legontes) [in, AE] [a] great (megalē) voice (phōnē), “[A] worthy one (axion) is (estin) the (to) little lamb (arnion), the one (to) having been slaughtered (esphagmenon), to receive (labein) the (tēn) inherently powered work (dunamin), and (kai) wealth (plouton), and (kai) wisdom (sophian), and (kai) strength (ischun), and (kai) honor (timēn), and (kai) glory (doxan), and (kai) [an] eulogy (eulogian)!”

 

Rev. 5:13 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) every (pan) creature (ktisma) which (ho) [is] in (en) the (tō) heaven (ouranō), and (kai) upon (epi) the (tēs) land (gēs), and (kai) down under (hupokatō) the (tēs) land (gēs), and (kai) upon (epi) the (tēs) sea (thalassēs), and (kai) (ta) all the things (ta panta) in (en) them (autois), I heard (ēkousa) them saying (legontas), "To the one (tō) causing himself to sit down (kathēmenō) upon (epi) the (tō) throne (thronō), and (kai) to the (tō) little lamb (arniō), [be] the (hē) eulogy (eulogia), and (kai) the (hē) honor (timē), and (kai) the (hē) glory (doxa), and (kai) the (to) power (kratos) into (eis) the (tous) ages (aiōnas) of the (tōn) ages (aiōnōn).”

 

Rev. 5:14 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) the (ta) four (tassara) living things (zōa) were saying (elegon), "Truly (amēn)!" 

 

And (kai) the (hoi) elders (presbuteroi) fell4098 (epesan), and (kai) they bowed to4352 (prosekunēsan) [the God, v4:11, RE].
