GALATIANS

Chapter 6

Update:  20220101

Gal. 6:1 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) if (ei), brothers (adelphoi), [a] mortal (anthrōpos) may have been taken before (prolēmphthē) in (en) some (tini) side-fall3900 (paraptōmati), you (humeis), the (hoi) Spirit-based ones (pneumatikoi), in (en) [a] spirit (pneumati) of meekness (prautētos) make fit (katartizete) the one (ton) like this (toiouton), scoping in on (skopōn) yourself (seauton) [that, AE] you (su) also (kai) may not be tested (mē peirasthēs).

Gal. 6:2 (LIT/UBS4) Carry (bastazete) the (ta) weights (barē) of one another (allēlōn), and (kai) thusly (houtōs) you shall fulfill (anaplērōsete) the (ton) law (nomon) of the (tou) Christ (Christou).

Gal. 6:3 (LIT/UBS4) Because (gar) if (ei) anyone (ti) concludes (dokei) [himself, RE] to be (einai) something (ti), he is being (ōn) not one thing (mēden)!

He deceives (phrenapata) himself (heauton).

Gal. 6:4 (LIT/UBS4) But (de) <let> each one (hekastos) prove (dokimazetō) the (to) work (ergon) of himself (heautou).

And (kai) then (tote) into (eis) himself (heauton) alone (monon) he shall hold (hexei) the (to) boast (kauchēma), and (kai) absolutely not (ouk) into (eis) the (ton) one of another kind (heteron).

Gal. 6:5 (LIT/UBS4) Because (gar) each one (hekastos) shall carry (bastasei) the (to) load (phortion) of his own (idion).

Gal. 6:6 (LIT/UBS4) But (de) the one (ho) being catechized (katēchoumenos) of the (ton) Word (logon), share (koinōneitō) [the Word, RE] to the one (tō) catechizing (katēchounti) in (en) all (pasin) good things (agathois).

Gal. 6:7 (LIT/UBS4) Do not be caused to wander (mē planasthe)!

God (theos) is absolutely not mocked (ou muktērizetai);

because (hoti) if perhaps (ean) whatever (ho) [a] mortal (anthrōpos) may sow (speirē), this (touto) he shall reap (therisei) also (kai).

Gal. 6:8 (LIT/UBS4) Because (gar) the one (ho) sowing (speirōn) into (eis) the (tēn) flesh (sarka) of himself (heautou), out (ek) of the (tēs) flesh (sarkos) he shall harvest (therisei) corruption (phthoran)!

But (de) the one (ho) sowing (speirōn) into (eis) the (to) Spirit (pneuma), out (ek) of the (tou) Spirit (pneumatos) he shall harvest (therisei) ageless (aiōnion) life (zōēn)!

Gal. 6:9 (LIT/UBS4) But (de) of the (to) doing (poiountes) of [a] beautiful thing (kalon), may we not give in to evil (mē enkakōmen).

Because (gar) [in, AE] [a] time (kairō) to its own (idiō) we shall harvest (therisomen), we not being caused to give out (mē ekluomenoi)!

Gal. 6:10 (LIT/UBS4) Therefore (oun), so (ara) as (hōs) we have (echomen) time (kairon), may we cause ourselves to work (ergazōmetha) the (to) good (agathon) to (pros) all (pantas), but (de) mostly (malista) to (pros) the (tous) householders (oikeious) of the (tēs) belief (pisteōs).

Gal. 6:11 (LIT/UBS4) You see (idete) what sized (pēlikois) writings (grammasin) I wrote (egrapsa) to you (humin), at the (tē) hand (cheiri) of me (emē)!

Gal. 6:12 (LIT/UBS4) As many as (hosoi) desire (thelousin) to be well-faced2146 (euprosōpēsai) in (en) flesh (sarki), these ones (hoitoi) constrain (anankazousin) you (humas) to be circumcised (peritemnesthai);

only (monon) in order that (hina) they may not be pursued (mē diōkōntai) for the (tō) stake (staurō) of the (tou) Christ (Christou)!

Gal. 6:13 (LIT/UBS4) Because (gar), the ones (hoi) being circumcised (peritemnomenoi) but absolutely do not keep watchful guard (oude phulassousin) of [the] law (nomon) of them (autoi)!

BUT (alla), they desire (thelousin) you (humas) to be circumcised (peritemnesthai), in order that (hina) in (en) the (tē) flesh (sarki), your own (humetera), they may cause themselves to boast (kauchēsōntai)!

Gal. 6:14 (LIT/UBS4) But (de) for me (emoi), may it not cause itself to come to pass (mē genoito) to cause myself to boast (kauchasthai), if (ei) not (mē) in (en) the (tō) stake (staurō) of the (tou) lord (kuriou) of us (hēmōn), Jesus (Iēsou) Christ (Christou), through (di’) [the sake, AE] of whom (hou) [the] cosmos (kosmos) has been staked (estaurōtai) to me (emoi), and I (kagō) to the cosmos (kosmō).

Gal. 6:15 (LIT/UBS4) Because (gar), there is absolutely neither (oute estin) any (ti) circumcised one (peritomē), absolutely nor (oute) [is there any, RE] prepuced one (akrobustia)!

BUT (alla), [there is, RE] [a] new (kainē) creation (ktisis)!

 Gal. 6:16 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) as many as (hosoi) shall walk in line (stoichēsousin) to this (toutō), the (tō) canon2583 (kanoni), peace (eirēnē) and (kai) mercy (eleos) [be] upon (ep’) them (autous), and (kai) upon (epi) the (ton) Israel (Israēl) of the (tou) God (theou).

Gal. 6:17 (LIT/UBS4) Of the (tou) remaining ones (loipou), <let> not one (mēdeis) hold alongside (parechetō) labors (kopous) to me (moi);

because (gar) I (egō) carry (bastazō) in (en) the (tō) body (sōmati) of me (mou) the (ta) marks (stigmata) of the (tou) Jesus (Iēsou).

Gal. 6:18 (LIT/UBS4) The (hē) grace (charis) of the (tou) lord (kuriou) of us (hēmōn), Jesus (Iēsou) Christ (Christou), [be] together with (meta) the (tou) Spirit (pneumatos) of you (humōn), brothers (adelphoi), truly (amēn)!
