Chapter 19

Rev. 19:1 (LIT/UBS4) With (meta) [the passing, AE] of these things (tauta) I heard (ēkousa) [a] great (megalēn) voice (phōnēn) of [a] crowd (ochlou), as (hōs) many (pollou) [as, RE] [are] in (en) the (tō) heaven (ouranō), saying (legontōn), “Praise YHWH (allēlouia);

 

the (hē) wholeness (sōtēria), and (kai) the (hē) glory (doxa), and (kai) the (hē) inherent power (dunamis) [is] of the (tou) God (theou) of us (hēmōn)!

 

Rev. 19:2 (LIT/UBS4) Because (hoti) true (alēthinai) and (kai) righteous (dikaiai) [are] the (hai) judgments (kriseis) of him (autou);

 

because (hoti) he judged (ekrinen) the (tēn) fornicator (pornēn), the (tēn) great one (megalēn) which (hētis) was corrupting (ephtheiren) the (tēn) land (gēn) in (en) the (tē) fornication (porneia) of her (autēs).

 

And (kai) he avenged out (exedikēsen) the (to) blood (haima) of the (tōn) slaves (doulōn) of him (autou), out (ek) of [the] hand (cheiros) of her (autēs)!”

 

Rev. 19:3 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) they have stated (eirēkan), “Praise YHWH (allēlouia)!” [a] second (deuteron) [time, AE].  

 

And (kai) the (ho) smoke (kapnos) of her (autēs) goes up (anabainei) into (eis) the (tous) ages (aiōnas) of the (tōn) ages (aiōnōn).

 

Rev. 19:4 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) the (hoi) elders (presbuteroi), the (hoi) twenty (eikosi) four (tessares), and (kai) the (ta) four (tessara) living things (zōa), fell4098 (epesan) and (kai) bowed to4352 (prosekunēsan) the (tō) God (theō), to the one (tō) causing himself to sit down (kathēmenō) upon (epi) the (tō) throne (thromō), saying (legontes), “Amen (amēn); praise YHWH (allēlouia)”!

 

Rev. 19:5 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) [a] voice (phōnē) came out (exēlthen) of the (tou) throne (thronou), saying (legousa), “Praise (aineite) the (tō) God (theō) of us (hēmōn), all (pantes) the (hoi) slaves (douloi) of him (autou), and (kai) the ones (hoi) causing themselves to fear (phoboumenoi) him (auton), the (hoi) small ones (mikroi) and (kai) the (hoi) great ones (megaloi)!”

 

Rev. 19:6 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) I heard (ēkousa), as (hōs) of [a] voice (phōnēn) of [a] great (pollou) crowd (ochlou), and (kai) as (hōs) of [a] voice (phōnēn) of many (pollōn) waters (hudatōn), and (kai) as (hōs) of [a] voice (phōnēn) of strong (ischurōn) thunderings (brontōn), saying (legontōn), “Praise YHWH (hallēlouia), because (gar) [the] Lord (kurios), the (ho) God (theos) of us (hēmōn), the (ho) all powerful one (pantokratōr), was King (ebasileusen)!

 

Rev. 19:7 (LIT/UBS4) May we rejoice (chairōmen)!  

 

And (kai) may we jump for joy (agalliōmen)!  

 

And (kai) may we give (dōsōmen) the (tēn) glory (doxan) to him (autō);

 

because (hoti) the (ho) marriage preparation (gamos) of the (tou) little lamb (arniou) came (ēlthen)!"  

 

And (kai) the (hē) female (gunē) of him (autou) made herself ready (hētoimasen heautēn).

 

Rev. 19:8 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) it was given (edothē) to her (autē) that (hina) she may throw around herself (peribalētai) fine linen (bussinon);

 

because (gar) the (to) shining (lampron) and (kai) cleansed (katharon) fine linen (bussinon) is (estin) the (ta) righteous purposes (dikaiōmata) of the (tōn) holy ones (hagiōn).

 

Rev. 19:9 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) [the voice out of the throne, v5, ER] says (legei) to me (moi), “Write (grapson), ‘Happy ones (makarioi) [are] the ones (hoi) having been called aloud (keklēmenoi) into (eis) the (to) dinner (deipnon) of the (tou) marriage preparation (gamou) of the (tou) little lamb (arniou)!’”  

 

And (kai) [the voice out of the throne, v5, ER] says (legei) to me (moi), “These (houtoi) are (eisin) the (hoi) true (alēthinoi) words (logoi) of the (tou) God (theou).”

 

Rev. 19:10 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) I fell4098(epesa) in front (emprosthen) of the (tōn) feet (podōn) of him (autou) to bow to4352 (proskunēsai) him (autō).  

 

And (kai) [the voice out of the throne, v5, ER] says (legei) to me (moi), “Do not gaze (hora ) [at me, AE]!  

 

I am (eimi) [a] slave together with (sundoulos) you (sou), and (kai) of the (tōn) brothers (adelphōn) of you (sou), of the (tōn) [brothers, RE] holding (echontōn) the (tēn) witness (marturian) of Jesus (Iēsou).

 

Because (gar) the (hē) witness (marturia) of Jesus (Iēsou) is (estin) the (to) Spirit (pneuma) of the (tēs) prophecy (prophēteias).  

 

Bow to4352 (proskunēson) the (tō) God (theō)!”

Rev. 19:11 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) I saw (eidon) the (ton) heaven (ouranon) having been opened up (ēneōgmenon), and (kai) behold (idou), [a] white (leukos) horse (hippos).  

 

And (kai) the one (ho) causing himself to sit down (kathēmenos) upon (ep’) it (auton) [is] being called aloud (kaloumenos) [a] believable one (pistos), and (kai) [a] true one (alēthinos).  

 

And (kai) in (en) righteousness (dikaiosunē) he judges (krinei) and (kai) he makes war (polemei).

 

Rev. 19:12 (LIT/UBS4) But (de) the (hoi) eyes (ophthalmoi) of him (autou) [are] as (hōs) [a] flame (phlox) of fire (puros).

And (kai) upon (epi) the (tēn) head (kephalēn) of him (autou) [are] many (polla) diadems (diadēmata).

 

He is one having (echōn) [a] name (onoma) having been written (gegrammenon) which (ho) absolutely not one (oudeis) has seen (oiden), if (ei) not (mē) himself (autos),

 

Rev. 19:13 (LIT/UBS4) and (kai) one having thrown around himself (peribeblēmenos) [an] outer garment (himation) having been dipped (bebammenon) [in, AE] blood (haimati)!  

 

And (kai) the (to) name (onoma) of him (autou) has been called aloud (keklētai), ‘The (ho) Word (logos) of the (tou) God (theou)’.

Rev. 19:14 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) the (ta) armies (strateumata), the ones (ta) in (en) the (tō) heaven (ouranō), were following (ēkolouthei) him (autō) upon (eph’) white (leukois) horses (hippois), they having enrobed themselves in (endedumenoi) cleansed (katharon), white (leukon) fine linen (bussinon).

 

Rev. 19:15 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) out (ek) of the (tou) mouth (stomatos) of him (autou) is caused to go out (ekporeuetai) [a] keen (oxeia) Rhomphaia4501 (Rhomphaia), in order that (hina) in (en) her (autē) he may strike (pataxē) the (ta) ethnic groups (ethnē).  

 

And (kai) he (autos) shall shepherd (poimanei) them (autous) in (en) [a] rod (rhabdō) of iron (sidēra).  

 

And (kai) he (autos) walks (patei) the (tēn) vat (lēnon) of the (tou) wine (oinou) of the (tou) passion (thumou) of the (tēs) anger (orgēs) of the (tou) God (theou), of the (tou) all powerful one (pantokratoros).

 

Rev. 19:16 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) he has (echei) upon (epi) the (to) outer garment (himation), and (kai) upon (epi) the (to) thigh (mēron) of him (autou), [a] name (onama) having been written (gegrammenon), King (basileus) of kings (basileōn), and (kai) Lord (kurios) of lords (kuriōn).

 

Rev. 19:17 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) I saw (eidon) one (hena) messenger (angelon) having stood (hestōta) in (en) the (tōn) sun (hēliō).

And (kai) it cried out (ekraxen) in (en) [a] great (megalē) voice (phōnē), saying (legōn) to all (pasin) the (tois) birds (orneois), the ones (tois) causing themselves to fly (petomenois) in (en) mid-heaven (mesouranēmati), “Secondly (deute), be brought together (sunachthēte) into (eis) the (to) dinner (deipnon), to the (to) great one (mega) of the (tou) God (theou);

 

Rev. 19:18 (LIT/UBS4) in order that (hina) you may eat (phagēte) flesh (sarkas) of kings (basileōn), and (kai) flesh (sarkas) of tribunes (chiliarchōn), and (kai) flesh (sarkas) of strong ones (ischurōn), and (kai) flesh (sarkas) of horses (hippōn), and (kai) of the ones (tōn) causing themselves to sit down (kathēmenōn) upon (ep’) them (autōn), and (kai) of flesh (sarkas) of all (pantōn), both (te) of free ones (eleutherōn) and (kai) of slaves (doulōn), and (kai) of small ones (mikrōn) and (kai) of great ones (megalōn)!”

 

Rev. 19:19 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) I saw (eidon) the (to) wild animal (thērion), and (kai) the (tous) kings (basileis) of the (tēs) land (gēs), and (kai) the (ta) armies (strateumata) of them (autōn) having been brought together (sunēgmena) to make (poiēsai) the (ton) war (polemon) with (meta) the one (tou) causing himself to sit down (kathēmenou) upon (epi) the (tou) horse (hippou), and (kai) with (meta) the (tou) army (strateumatos) of him (autou).

 

Rev. 19:20 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) the (to) wild animal (thērion) was caught (epiasthē), and (kai) with (met’) it (autou) the (ho) false prophet (pseudoprophētēs), the one (ho) having done (poiēsas) the (ta) signs (sēmeia) in sight (enōpion) of it (autou), in (en) which (hois) [signs, RE] [the false prophet, v19, RE] made wander (eplanēsen) [the armies of the kings of the land, v19, RE],  the ones (tous) having taken (labontas) the (to) character (charagma) of the (tou) wild animal (thēriou), and (kai) the ones (tous) bowing to4352 (proskunountas) the (tē) icon (eikoni) of it (autou).

 

The (hoi) two (duo), living (zōntes), were thrown (eblēthēsan) into (eis) the (tēn) harbor (limnēn) of fire (puros), the (tou) [fire, RE] burning (kaiomenēs) in (en) sulfur (theiō).

Rev. 19:21 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) the (hoi) remaining ones (loipoi) were killed (apektanthēsan) in (en) the (tē) Rhomphaia4501 (Rhomphaia) of the one (tou) causing himself to sit down (kathēmenou) upon (epi) the (tou) horse (hippou), the (tē) [Rhomphaia, RE] coming out (exelthousē) out (ek) of the (tou) mouth (stomatos) of him (autou).  

 

And (kai) all (panta) the (ta) birds (ornea) were fed (echortasthēsan) out (ek) of the (tōn) flesh (sarkōn) of them (autōn).
