Rev. 18:1 (LIT/UBS4) With (meta) [the passing, AE] of these things (tauta) I saw (eidon) another (allon) messenger (angelon) stepping down (katabainonta) out (ek) of the (tou) heaven (ouranou), holding (echonta) great (megalēn) authority (exousian).
And (kai) the (hē) land (gē) was illuminated (ephōtisthē) out (ek) of the (tēs) glory (doxēs) of it (autou).
Rev. 18:2 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) it cried out (ekraxen) in (en) [a] strong (ischura) voice (phōnē), saying (legōn), “Babylon (Babulōn) the (hē) great (megalē) fell (epesen), fell (epesen)!
And (kai) it caused itself to become (egeneto) [a] homing-down place (katoikētērion) of little demons (daimoniōn);
and (kai) [a] guardroom (phulakē) of every (pantos) unclean (akathartou) spirit (pneumatos);
and (kai) [a] guardroom (phulakē) of every (pantos) unclean (akathartou) bird (orneou);
and (kai) [a] guardroom (phulakē) of every (pantos) unclean (akathartou) wild animal (thēriou), it having been despised (memisēmenou) also (kai);
Rev. 18:3 (LIT/UBS4) because (hoti) all (panta) the (ta) ethnic groups (ethnē) have drank (pepōkan) out (ek) of the (tou) wine (oinou) of the (tou) passion (thumou) of the (tēs) fornication (porneias) of her (autēs);
and (kai) the (hoi) kings (basileis) of the (tēs) land (gēs) fornicated (eporneusan) with (met) her (autēs);

Rev. 18:4 (LIT/UBS4) And (Kai) I heard (ēkousa) another (allēn) voice (phōnēn) out (ek) of the (tou) heaven (ouranou), saying (legousan), “The (ho) people (laos) of me (mou), come out (exelthate) out (ex) of her (autēs), in order that (hina) you may not fellowship together with (mē sunkoinōnēsēte) the (tais) sins (hamartiais) of her (autēs);
and (kai) in order that (hina) you may not receive (mē labēte) out (ek) of the (tōn) plagues (plēgōn) of her (autēs).
Rev. 18:5 (LIT/UBS4) Because (hoti) the (hai) sins (hamartiai) of her (autēs) were glued2853 (ekollēthēsan) unto (achri) the (tou) heaven (ouranou);

Because (hoti) in (en) the (tē) heart (kardia) of her (autēs) she says (legei) that (hoti), 'I cause myself to sit down (kathēmai) [a] queen (basilissa), and (kai) I am (eimi) absolutely not (ouk) [a] bereaved one (chēra)!
