Phil. 4:1 (LIT/UBS4) And so (hōste), brothers (adelphoi) of me (mou), beloved ones (agapētoi) and (kai) ones longed over (epipothētoi), [a] joy (chara) and (kai) crown (stephanos) of me (mou), thusly (houtōs) stand (stēkete) in (en) [the] lord (kuriō), beloved ones (agapētoi).
Phil. 4:2 (LIT/UBS4) I accost (parakalō) Euodia (Euodian), and (kai) I accost (parakalō) Suntuche (Suntuchēn), to think (phronein) the (to) same thing (auto) in (en) [the] lord (kuriō).
Phil. 4:3 (LIT/UBS4) Yes (nai), I inquire (erōtō) of you (se) also (kai), [a] legitimate (gnēsei) yoked-together (suzuge) [brother, v1, RE], cause yourself to receive together (sullambanou) them (autais), [brothers, v1, RE] who (haitines) contended together with (sunēthlēsan) me (moi) in (en) the (tō) Evangelism (euangeliō), with (meta) Clement (Klēmentos) also (kai) and (kai) the (tōn) remaining (loipōn) workers together (sunergōn) of me (mou), the (ta) names (onomata) of whom (hōn) [are] in (en) [a] scroll (biblō) of life (zōēs).
Phil. 4:4 (LIT/UBS4) Rejoice (chairete) in (en) [the] lord (kuriō) always (pantote).
Again (palin) I shall state (erō), rejoice (chairete)!
Phil. 4:5 (LIT/UBS4) Let be made known (gnōsthētō) to all (pasin) mortals (anthrōpois) the (to) gentleness (epieikes) of you (humōn).
The (ho) lord (kurios) [is] near (engus).
Phil. 4:6 (LIT/UBS4) Worry (merimnate) for not one (mēden) [need, AE]!
BUT (all’), in (en) everything (panti), [in, RE] the (tē) prayer of well-thankfulness to4335 (proseuchē) [God, AE] and the (tē) prayer of need (deēsei), with (meta) thanksgiving (eucharistias) <let> the (ta) requests (aitēmata) of you (humōn) be made known (gnōrizesthō) to (pros) the (ton) God (theon)!
Phil. 4:7 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) the (hē) peace (eirēnē) of the (tou) God (theou), the (hē) [peace, RE] being [a] superior (huperechousa) [peace, RE] of every (panta) mind (noun), shall keep watch (phrourēsei) of the (tas) hearts (kardias) of you (humōn), and (kai) of the (ta) perceptions (noēmata) of you (humōn), in (en) Christ (Christō) Jesus (Iēsou).
Phil. 4:8 (LIT/UBS4) Of the (to) remainder (loipon), brothers (adelphoi),
as many as (hosa) are (estin) true (alēthē) [brothers, ER],
as many as (hosa) [are] reputable (semna) [brothers, ER],
as many as (hosa) [are] righteous (dikaia) [brothers, ER],
as many as (hosa) [are] innocent (hagna) [brothers, ER],
as many as (hosa) [are] friendly (prosphilē) [brothers, ER],
as many as (hosa) [are] well-famed (euphēma) [brothers, ER],
if (ei) any (tis) [brother, ER] [is] one of virtue (aretē), and (kai) if (ei) any (tis) [brother, ER] [is] one of praise (epainos), cause yourselves to count (logizesthe) these (tauta) [as, AE] [brothers, ER].
Phil. 4:9 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) things which (ha) you learned (emathete), and (kai) you received alongside (parelabete), and (kai) you heard (ēkousate), and (kai) you saw (eidete) in (en) me (emoi), you habitually practice (prassete) these things (tauta);
and (kai) the (ho) God (theos) of the (tēs) peace (eirēnēs) shall cause himself to be (estai) together with (meth’) you (humōn)!
Phil. 4:10 (LIT/UBS4) But (de) I was caused to rejoice (echarēn) greatly (megalōs) in (en) [the] lord (kuriō), that (hoti) already (ēdē) in time past (pote) you sprouted up (anethalete) the (to) [thought of you v1:7, RE] to think (phronein) over (huper) [the sake, AE] of me (emou), [to think, RE] upon (eph’) that which (hō) you are thinking (ephroneite) [now, AE] also (kai), but (de) you are not being given [a] time (ēkaireisthe);
Phil. 4:11 (LIT/UBS4) because (hoti) I absolutely do not speak (ouch legō) down on account (kath) of [a] lack (husterēsin)!
Because (gar) I (egō) learned (emathon), whatever (hois) I am (eimi) in (en), to be (einai) self-sufficient (autarkēs)!
Phil. 4:12 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) I have seen (oida) to be humbled (tapeinousthai), and (kai) I have seen (oida) to abound (perisseuein) in (en) everything (panti).
And (kai) I have been initiated (memuēmai) in (en) all things (pasin), both (kai) to be fed (chortazesthai) and (kai) to pine (pinan), both (kai) to abound (perisseuein) and (kai) to lack (hustereisthai).
Phil. 4:13 (LIT/UBS4) I am strong enough (ischuō) for all things (panta), [being] in (en) the (tō) [lord, v10, RE] inherently empowering (endunamounti) me (me)!
(For the Spirit of God being in Christ, and the Spirit of Christ being in those who believe upon his name, making them more than conquerors now, see Mat. 10:25; Acts 1:4-8; Rom. 8:9-11, 37; 1 Cor. 12:6; 2 Cor. 2:14, 13:3-5; Gal. 1:16; Eph. 1:19-20, 4:13, 6:13-18; Phil. 2:13, 4:13; Col. 1:27-29; 1 Thes. 2:13; 2 Tim. 1:7; 1 John 4:4, 5:4-5)
Phil. 4:14 (LIT/UBS4) Moreover (plēn), you did (epoiēsate) beautifully (kalōs), you having fellowshipped together with (sunkoinōnēsantes) [me, AE] for the (tē) mental pressure (thlipsei) of me (mou).
Phil. 4:15 (LIT/UBS4) But (de) you (humeis) also (kai) have seen (oidate), Philippians (Philippēsioi), that (hoti) in (en) [the] beginning (archē) of the (tou) Evangelism (euangeliou), when (hote) I came out (exēlthon) from (apo) Macedonia (Makedonias), absolutely not one (oudemia) assembly (ekklēsia) shared (ekoinōnēsen) to me (moi) in (eis) [a] word (logon) of giving (doseōs) and (kai) of receiving (lēmpseōs), if (ei) not (mē) you (humeis), [the] only (monoi) [brothers, v8, ER]!
Phil. 4:16 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) that (hoti) in (en) Thessalonica (Thessalonikē), both (kai) once (hapax) and (kai) twice (dis), you sent (epempsate) into (eis) the (tēn) need (chreian) to me (moi).
Phil. 4:17 (LIT/UBS4) Absolutely not (ouch) that (hoti) I search over (epizētō) [the sake, AE] of the (to) gift (doma), BUT (alla), I search over (epizētō) [the sake, AE] of the (ton) produce (karpon), the (ton) [produce, RE] increasing (pleonazonta) in (eis) [the] word (logon) of you (humōn)!
Phil. 4:18 (LIT/UBS4) But (de) I hold away from (apechō) all things (panta), and (kai) I abound (perisseuō).
I have been filled (peplērōmai), having caused myself to receive (dexamenos) alongside (para) of Epaphroditus (Epaphroditou) the things (ta) alongside (par’) of you (humōn);
[a] fragrance (osmēn) of [a] good scent (euōdias), [an] acceptable (dektēn), well agreeable (euareston) sacrifice (thusian) to the (tō) God (theō).
(For examples of the apostle, prophets, evangelists, pastors, teachers, and disciples of Christ Jesus NOT selling or bartering the knowledge and things of God for personal gain, or of NOT accepting money or personal gifts for themselves, but rather working with their own hands to provide for their own personal necessary needs, see Mat. 5:42-48, 10:8; Luke 7:19-22, 41-43, 14:12-14; Acts 8:9-24, 18:1-3, 20:33-35; Rom. 3:24, 8:32; 1 Cor. 2:12, 4:12, 4:1-13, 9:3-23, 16:1-4; 2 Cor. 8:3, 11:7; Eph. 4:28; Phil. 4:10-18; 1 Thes. 2:1-10, 4:11-12; 2 Thes. 3:6-12; 1 Tim. 3:3; Titus 1:11; 3 John 1:6-7; Rev. 21:6, 22:17)
Phil. 4:19 (LIT/UBS4) But (de) the (ho) God (theos) of me (mou) shall fulfill (plērōsei) every (pasan) need (chreian) of you (humōn) down according to (kata) the (to) wealth (ploutos) of him (autou), in (en) to glory (doxē) in (en) Christ (Christō) Jesus (Iēsou).
Phil. 4:20 (LIT/UBS4) But (de) to the (tō) God (theō) and (kai) Father (patri) of us (hēmōn) [is] the (hē) glory (doxa) into (eis) the (tous) ages (aiōnas) of the (tōn) ages (aiōnōn), truly (amēn)!
Phil. 4:21 (LIT/UBS4) Cause yourselves to embrace (aspasasthe) every (panta) holy (hagion) [brother, v8, ER] in (en) Christ (Christō) Jesus (Iēsou).
The (hoi) [brothers, v8, ER] together with (sun) me (emoi) cause themselves to embrace (aspazontai) you (humas), brothers (adelphoi).
Phil. 4:22 (LIT/UBS4) All (pantes) the (hoi) holy (hagioi) [brothers, v8, ER] cause themselves to embrace (aspazontai) you (humas);
but (de) mostly (malista) the (hoi) [brothers, v8, ER] out (ek) of the (tēs) house (oikias) of Caesar (Kaisaros).
Phil. 4:23 (LIT/UBS4) The (hē) grace (charis) of the (tou) lord (kuriou), Jesus (Iēsou) Christ (Christou), [is] together with (meta) the (tou) Spirit (pneumatos) of you (humōn).
