(Both the God and his son Christ Jesus are referred to as saviors by the apostles. The clear distinction the holy scriptures make between the roles of the two is that the God prepared the plan and the schematic for our salvation (Heb. 3:1-4; Rom. 3:23-25; Eph. 1:7-9; Luke 1:47; 1 Tim. 1:1, 2:3, 4:10; 2 Tim. 1:9; Tit. 1:2-3, 2:10, 3:4; Jude 1:25, Rev. 7:10), while Christ Jesus, who caused himself to follow God’s plan and schematic, caused himself to become God’s enabling one, or instrument of our salvation (Heb. 5:9; Luke 2:11; John 4:42; Acts 5:31, 13:23; Eph. 5:23; Phil. 3:20; 2 Tim. 1:10; Tit. 1:2-4, 2:13, 3:6; 2 Pet. 1:1, 1:11, 2:20, 3:2, 18; 1 John 4:14).

Luke 2:13 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) suddenly (exaiphnēs) [a] plethora (plēthos) of [a] heavenly army (stratias ouraniou) caused itself to come to pass (egeneto), together with (sun) the (tō) messenger (angelō), praising (ainountōn) the (ton) God (theon), and (kai) saying (legontōn),

Luke 2:14 (LIT/UBS4) “Glory (doxa) in (en) [the] highest places (hupsistois) [is] to God (theō).

Luke 2:15 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) it caused itself to came to pass (egeneto) when (hōs) the (hoi) messengers (angeloi) went away (apēlthon) from (ap’) them (autōn) into (eis) the (ton) heaven (ouranon), the (hoi) shepherds (poimenes) were speaking (elaloun) to (pros) one another (allēlous), “By all means (dē) may we go through (dielthōmen) unto (heōs) Bethlehem (Bēthleem), and (kai) may we see (idōmen) the (to) statement (rhēma) of this (touto), the (to) [statement, RE] having come to pass (gegonos), which (ho) the (ho) Lord (kurios) made known (egnōrisen) to us (hēmin).”

Luke 2:17 (LIT/UBS4) But (de) they having seen (idontes) [the baby, v16, RE], they made known (egnōrisan) [to them, RE] about (peri) the (tou) statement (rhēmatos) of the (tou) [messengers, v15, RE] having been spoken (lalēthentos) to them (autois), about (peri) the (tou) young child (paidiou) of this (toutou).
