Heb. 13:2 (LIT/UBS4) Do not cause yourselves to be forgetful over (mē epilanthanesthe) the (tēs) love of strangers (philoxenias).

Because (gar) through (dia) this (tautēs) some (tines) were lodging (xenisantes) messengers (angelous) [which, AE] escaped notice (elathon)!

Heb. 13:3 (LIT/UBS4) Remind yourselves (mimnēskesthe) of the (tōn) ones bound (desmiōn), as (hōs) you having been bound together with (sundedemenoi) the ones (tōn) being held maliciously (kakouchoumenōn), as (hōs) they (autoi) also (kai) being ones (ontes) in (en) [the] body (sōmati)!

Heb. 13:4 (LIT/UBS4) The (ho) marriage [state, AE] (gamos) [is] highly esteemed (timios) among (en) all (pasin), and (kai) the (hē) bed (koitē) [is] uncontaminated (amiantos).

Because (gar) the (ho) God (theos) shall judge (krinei) fornicators (pornous) and (kai) adulterers (moichous).

Heb. 13:5 (LIT/UBS4) The one (ho) of [an] un-silvered (philarguros) way (tropos) is being satisfied (arkoumenoi) [with, AE] the things (tois) coming alongside (parousin);

because (gar) he (autos) has stated (eirēken), “No (mē), absolutely not (ou) may I slack up on (anō) you (se)!

No (mē), absolutely not (ou), but absolutely not (oud’), may I let you down (se enkatalipō)!!”

(See Gen. 28:15; Deut. 4:31, 31:6; Josh. 1:5; 1 Chron. 28:20; Heb. 13:5)

Heb. 13:6 (LIT/UBS4) And so (hōste) we (hēmas) are being confident (tharrountas) to say (legein), “[The] Lord (kurios) [is] [a] helper (boēthos) to me (emoi).

And (kai) I shall absolutely not be made fearful (ou phobēthēsomai) of what (ti) [a] mortal (anthrōpos) shall do (poiēsei) to me (moi)!”

(See Gen. 49:25; 1 Sam. 7:12; 1 Chron. 5:20; 2 Chron. 14:11, 18:31, 26:7, 32:8; Ps. 10:14, 28:7, 37:40, 72:12, 118:13, 119:173; Isa. 41:10-14, 49:8, 50:7-9)

Heb. 13:7 (LIT/UBS4) Remember (mnēmoneuete) the ones (tōn) causing themselves to lead (hēgoumenōn) you (humōn), ones who (hoitines) spoke (elalēsan) to you (humin) the (ton) Word (logon) of the (tou) God (theou);

of whom (hōn) watching (anatheōrountes) the (tēn) stepping out (ekbasin) of the (tēn) belief (pisten) [of them, AE], you cause yourselves to imitate (mimeisthe) the (tēs) behavior (anastrophēs) [of them, AE].

Heb. 13:8 (LIT/UBS4) Jesus (Iēsous) Christ (Christos) [is] the (ho) same (autos) yesterday (echthes), and (kai) today (sēmeron), and (kai) into (eis) the (tous) ages (aiōnas).

Heb. 13:9 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) do not be brought alongside (mē parapheresthe) to various (poikilais) strange (xenais) orthodoxies (didachais)

Because (gar) [it, AE] [is] beautiful (kalon) for the (tēn) heart (kardian) to be established (bebaiousthai) for grace (chariti), absolutely not (ouk) for foods (brōmasin);

in (en) which (hois) [foods, RE] the ones (hoi) walking around (peripatountes) were absolutely not caused to profit (ouk ōphelēthēsan)!

Heb. 13:10 (LIT/UBS4) We hold (echomen) [an] altar (thusiastērion), out (ex) of which (hou) the ones (hoi) serving (latreuontes) the (tē) tent (skēnē) absolutely do not have (ouk echousin) authority (exousian) to eat (phagein)!

Heb. 13:11 (LIT/UBS4) Because (gar), of which things (hōn) about (peri) sin (hamartias), the (to) blood (haima) of living things (zōōn) is brought in (eispheretai) into (eis) the (to) holy places (hagia) through (dia) the (tou) chief sacrificial priest (archiereōs).

Of these (toutōn) [living things, RE], the (ta) bodies (sōmata) [are] burned (katakaietai) outside (exō) of the (tēs) auxiliary encampment (parembolēs).

Heb. 13:12 (LIT/UBS4) Through this (dio) [law, AE] Jesus (Iēsous) also (kai) suffered (epathen) outside (exō) of the (tēs) gate (pulēs), in order that (hina) he may make holy (hagiasē) the (ton) people (laon) through (dia) the (tou) blood (haimatos) of his own (idiou)!

Heb. 13:13 (LIT/UBS4) Nevertheless now (toinun), may we cause ourselves to go out (exerchōmetha) to (pros) him (auton), outside (exō) of the (tēs) auxiliary encampment (parembolēs), bearing (pherontes) the (ton) reproach (oneidismon) of him (autou)!

Heb. 13:14 (LIT/UBS4) Because (gar), we absolutely do not have (ou echomen) [a] city (polin) remaining (mellousan) here (hōde)!

BUT (alla), we are searching over (epizētoumen) [the sake, AE] of the (tēn) [city, RE] being about (mellousan) [to remain here, RE]!

(Is this posterity of Abraham, the posterity which God promised to Abraham, the ones out of it who shall believe God's Word as Abraham did, which ones the writer of Hebrews refers to as a "city", are they the new heavenly Jerusalem, the "city" of God? Mat. 5:14, 35; Gal. 4:25-26; Heb. 11:10-16, 12:22-24, 13:14; Rev. 3:12, 21:2-3, 10-27, 22:14, 19)

Heb. 13:15 (LIT/UBS4) Therefore (oun), through (di) [the blood, v12, RE] of him (autou) may we bring up (anapherōmen) [a] sacrifice (thusian) of praise (aineseōs) through (dia) all things (pantos) to the (tō) God (theō);

that (tout’) is (esti), produce (karpon) of [our, AE] lips (cheileōn) confessing alike (homologountōn) the (tō) name (onomati) of him (autou).

Heb. 13:16 (LIT/UBS4) But (de) do not cause yourselves to be forgetful over (mē epilanthanesthe) the (tēs) doing of good (eupoiias), and (kai) of fellowship (koinōnias).

Because (gar) for sacrifices (thusiais) like these (toiautais) the (ho) God (theos) is caused to be well agreeable (euaresteitai).

Heb. 13:17 (LIT/UBS4) You be persuaded (peithesthe) to the ones (tois) causing themselves to lead (hēgoumenois) you (humōn), and (kai) be submissive (hupeikete);

(because (gar) they (autoi) are being sleepless (agrupnousin) over (huper) the (tōn) souls (psuchōn) of you (humōn), as (hōs) ones who shall give away (apodōsontes) [the] Word (logon));

in order that (hina) they may do (poiōsin) this (touto) with (meta) joy (charas), and (kai) not (mē) [with, RE] groaning (stenazontes), because (gar) this (touto) [would be, AE] [an] unlimited loss (alusiteles) to you (humin)!

Heb. 13:18 (LIT/UBS4) Cause yourselves to be well-thankful to4336 (proseuchesthe) [God, AE] about (peri) us (hēmōn).

Because (gar) we are persuaded (peithometha) that (hoti) we have (echomen) [a] beautiful (kalēn) conscience (suneidēsin) in (en) all things (pasin), desiring (thelontes) to be caused to turn up390 (anastrephesthai) beautifully (kalōs).

Heb. 13:19 (LIT/UBS4) But (de) I accost (parakalō) [you, AE] to do (poiēsai) this (touto) [well-thankfulness to God, v18, RE] abundantly (perissoterōs), in order that (hina) I may be restored (apokatastathō) to you (humin) quickly (tachion).

Heb. 13:20 (LIT/UBS4) But (de) the (ho) God (theos) of the (tē) peace (eirēnēs), the one (ho) having led up (anagagōn) out (ek) of dead ones (nekrōn) the (ton) shepherd (poimena) of the (tōn) sheep (probatōn), the (ton) great (megan) [shepherd, RE], the (ton) lord (kurion) of us (hēmōn), Jesus (Iēsous), in (en) blood (haimati) of [an] ageless (aiōniou) covenant (diathēkēs),

Heb. 13:21 (LIT/UBS4) <may> [the God, v20, RE] make you fit (katartisai humas) in (en) every (panti) good thing (agathō), into (eis) the (to) [fitness, RE] to do (poiēsai) the (to) desire (thelēma) of him (autou);

we doing (poiōn) among (en) us (hēmin), through (dia) [the sake, AE] of Jesus (Iēsou) Christ (Christou), the thing (to) well agreeable (euareston) in sight (enōpion) of him (autou);

to whom (hō) [be] the (hē) glory (doxa) into (eis) the (tous) ages (aiōnas) of the (tōn) ages (aiōnōn), truly (amen)!

(For the God, under his new covenant, being IN believers, and he working IN and THROUGH them, see Lev. 26:11-12; Ezek. 11:19-20, 36:25-27; Mat. 13:33; Luke 17:20-21; John 3:3-8, 14:20-21, 26, 17:14-21; Rom. 8:8-11; 1 Cor. 3:16-17, 6:19-20; 2 Cor. 4:3-7, 6:14-7:1, 13:3-5, 14; Gal. 1:15-16, 2:20, 4:18-19; Eph. 2:17-22, 3:14-19; Col. 1:27; 2 Tim. 1:14; Heb. 3:6, 13:20-21; 1 John 3:23-24, 4:7-8, 15-16)

Heb. 13:22 (LIT/UBS4) But (de) I accost (parakalō) you (humas), brothers (adelphoi), cause yourselves to hold up (anechesthe) the (tou) Word (logou) of the (tēs) consolation (paraklēseōs);

and (kai) because (gar) through (dia) [the sake, AE] of [a] little bit (bracheōn) [of the Word, RE] I sent [an] epistle (episteila) to you (humin).

Heb. 13:23 (LIT/UBS4) Know (ginōskete) [that, AE] the (ton) brother (adelphon) of us (hēmōn), Timothy (Timotheon), with (meth’) whom (hou) I having been sent away (apolelumenon), if perhaps (ean) he may cause himself to come (erchētai) [to me, AE] quickly (tachion) I shall cause myself to gaze at (opsomai) you (humas).

Heb. 13:24 (LIT/UBS4) Cause yourselves to embrace (aspasasthe) all (pantas) the ones (tous) causing themselves to lead (hēgoumenous) you (humōn), and (kai) all (pantas) of the (tous) holy ones (hagious).

The (hoi) [holy ones, RE] from (apo) the (tēs) Italy (Italias), they cause themselves to embrace (aspazontai) you (humas).

Heb. 13:25 (LIT/UBS4) The (hē) grace (charis) [be] with (meta) all (pantōn) of you (humōn).
