1:53 He filled (eneplēsen) ones pining (peinōntas) [with] good things (agathōn), and (kai) ones being wealthy (ploutountas) He sent out (exapesteilen) empty ones (kenous).

1:54 Of Israel (Israēl), He caused Himself to take (antelabeto) a child (paidos) of Him (autou), [for Israel] to be reminded (mnēsthēnai) of [the] mercy (eleous) [of Him];

And (kai) she generated (egennēsen) a son (huion).

1:58 And (kai) the (hoi) ones housed around (perioikoi), and (kai) the (hoi) related ones (sungeneis) of her (autēs), they heard (ēkousan) that (hoti) [the] Lord (kurios) made great (emegalunen) with (met’) her (autēs) the (to) mercy (eleos) of Him (autou).
