John 17:1 (LIT/UBS4) These things (tauta) Jesus (Iēsous) spoke (elalēsen).
And (kai) having lifted up (eparas) the (tous) eyes (ophthalmous) of him (autou) into (eis) the (ton) heaven (ouranon), he enunciated (eipen), “Father (pater), the (hē) hour (hōra) has come (elēluthen);
glorify (doxason) the (ton) son (huion) of you (sou), in order that (hina) the (ho) son (huion) may glorify (doxasē) you (se).
John 17:2 (LIT/UBS4) Down according to as (kathōs) you gave (edōkas) to him (autō) authority (exousian) of all (pasēs) flesh (sarkos), [it, AE] [is] in order that (hina) everyone (pan) which (ho) you have given (dedōkas) to him (autō) he may give (dōse) to them (autois) ageless (aiōnion) life (zōēn).
John 17:3 (LIT/UBS4) But (de) this (hautē) is (estin) the (hē) [cause, AE] for ageless (aiōnios) life (zōē):
in order that (hina) they may know (ginōskōsin) you (se), the (ton) only (monon) true (alēthinon) God (theon), and (kai) [they may know, RE] whom (hon) you sent (apesteilas), Jesus (Iēsoun) Christ (Christon)!
John 17:4 (LIT/UBS4) I (egō) glorified (edoxasa) you (se) upon (epi) the (tēs) land (gēs), having made complete (teleiōsas) the (to) work (ergon) which (ho) you have given (dedōkas) to me (moi) in order that (hina) I may do (poiēsō) [the work, RE].
John 17:5 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) now (nun) you (su) glorify (doxason) me (me), Father (pater), [with, AE] the (tē) glory (doxē) alongside3844, 3936 (para) to yourself (seautō);
of the (tou) [glory, RE] which (hē) I was holding (eichon) alongside3844, 3936 (para) to you (soi) before (pro) the (ton) cosmos (kosmon) was to be (einai).
John 17:6 (LIT/UBS4) I have manifested (ephanerōsa) the (to) name (onoma) of you (sou) to the (tois) mortals (anthrōpois) whom (hous) you gave (edōkas) to me (moi) out (ek) of the (tou) cosmos (kosmou).
They were being (ēsan) yours (soi), and to me (kamoi) you gave (edōkas) them (autous);
and (kai) they have watchfully kept (tetērēkan) the (ton) Word (logon) of you (sou).
John 17:7 (LIT/UBS4) Now (nun) they have known (egnōkan) that (hoti) all things (panta), as many as (hosa) you have given (dedōkas) to me (moi), are (eisin) [from, AE] alongside3844, 3936 (para) of you (sou);
John 17:8 (LIT/UBS4) that (hoti) the (ta) statements (rhēmata) which (ha) you gave (edōkas) to me (moi) I have given (dedōka) to them (autois), and (kai) they (autoi) received (elabon) [the statements, RE].
And (kai) they knew (egnōsan), truly (alēthōs), that (hoti) I came out (exēlthon) [from, AE] alongside3844, 3936 (para) of you (sou), and (kai) they believed (episteusan) that (hoti) you (su) sent (apesteilas) me (me)!

John 17:9 (LIT/UBS4) I (egō) inquire (erōtō) about (peri) them (autōn);
I inquire (erōtō) absolutely not (ou) about (peri) the (tou) cosmos (kosmou), BUT (alla), about (peri) ones whom (hōn) you have given (dedōkas) to me (moi), because (hoti) they are (eisin) yours (soi)!
John 17:10 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) the things (ta) [being] mine (ema), all (panta) is (estin) yours (sa).
And (kai) the things (ta) [being] yours (sa), [all is, RE] mine (ema).
And (kai) I have been glorified (dedoxasmai) in (en) them (autois).
John 17:11 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) I am (eimi) absolutely no longer yet (ouketi) in (en) the (tō) cosmos (kosmō), and (kai) they (autoi) are (eisin) in (en) the (tō) cosmos (kosmō);
and I (kagō) cause myself to come (erchomai) to (pros) you (se).
Holy (hagie) Father (pater), in (en) the (tō) name (onomati) of you (sou), watchfully keep (tērēson) them (autous) whom (hō) you have given (dedōkas) to me (moi), in order that (hina) they may be (ōsin) one (hen), down according to as (kathōs) we (hēmeis) [are] [in one another, v21, RE].
John 17:12 (LIT/UBS4) When (hote) I was causing myself to be (ēmēn) with (met’) them (autōn) whom (hō) you have given (dedōkas) to me (moi), I (egō) was keeping watch (etēroun) of them (autous) in (en) the (tō) name (onomati) of you (sou).
And (kai) I kept watchful guard (ephulaxa), and (kai) absolutely not one (oudeis) out (ex) of them (autōn) lost himself (apōleto), if (ei) not (mē) the (ho) son (huios) of the (tēs) lost one (apōleias), in order that (niha) the (hē) writing (graphē) may be fulfilled (plērōthē)!
John 17:13 (LIT/UBS4) But (de) now (nun) I cause myself to come (erchomai) to (pros) you (se).
And (kai) these things (tauta) I speak (lalō) in (en) the (tō) cosmos (kosmō) in order that (hina) they may hold (echōsin) the (tēn) joy (charan), the (tēn) [joy, RE] of me (emēn), it having been filled full (peplērōmenēn) in (en) to themselves (heautois).
John 17:14 (LIT/UBS4) I (egō) have given (dedōka) to them (autois) the (ton) Word (logon) of you (sou)!
And (kai) the (ho) cosmos (kosmos) despised (emisēsen) them (autous) because (hoti) they are (eisin) absolutely not (ouk) out (ek) of the (tou) cosmos (kosmou), down according to as (kathōs) I (egō) am (eimi) absolutely not (ouk) out (ek) of the (tou) cosmos (kosmou)!
John 17:15 (LIT/UBS4) I absolutely do not inquire (ouk erōtō) in order that (hina) you may lift (arēs) them (autous) out (ek) of the (tou) cosmos (kosmou), BUT (all’), in order that (hina) you may watchfully keep (tērēsēs) them (autous) out (ek) of the (tou) evil (ponērou) [of the cosmos, RE]!
John 17:16 (LIT/UBS4) They are (eisin) absolutely not (ouk) out (ek) of the (tou) cosmos (kosmou), down according to as (kathōs) I (egō) am (eimi) absolutely not (ouk) out (ek) of the (tou) cosmos (kosmou)!
John 17:17 (LIT/UBS4) Make them holy (hagiason autous) in (en) the (tē) Truth (alētheia).
The (ho) Word (logos), the one (ho) of you (sos), is (estin) Truth (alētheia)!
John 17:18 (LIT/UBS4) Down according to as (kathōs) you sent (apesteilas) me (eme) into (eis) the (ton) cosmos (kosmon), I also (kagō) sent (apesteila) them (autous) into (eis) the (ton) cosmos (kosmon).
John 17:19 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) over (huper) [the sake, AE] of them (autōn) I (egō) make myself holy (hagiazō emauton);
in order that (hina) they (autoi) also (kai) may be (ōsin) [holy, RE], they having been made holy (hēgiasmenoi) in (en) Truth (alētheia).
John 17:20 (LIT/UBS4) But (de) I absolutely do not inquire (ou erōtō) about (peris) these (toutōn) only (monon), BUT (alla), about (peri) the ones (tōn) also (kai) believing (pisteuontōn) into (eis) me (eme) through (dia) the (tou) Word (logou) of them (autōn);
John 17:21 (LIT/UBS4) in order that (hina) all (pantes) may be (ōsin) one (hen), down according to as (kathōs) you (su), Father (pater), [are] in (en) me (emoi) and I (kagō) [am] in (en) you (soi);
in order that (hina) they (autoi) also (kai) may be (ōsin) [one, RE] in (en) us (hēmin);
in order that (hina) the (ho) cosmos (kosmos) may believe (pisteuē) that (hoti) you (su) sent (apesteilas) me (me)!

John 17:22 (LIT/UBS4) And I (kagō) have given (dedōka) to them (autois) the (tēn) glory (doxan) which (hēn) you have given (dedōkas) to me (moi);
in order that (hina) they may be (ōsin) one (hen) down according to as (kathōs) we (hēmeis) [are] one (hen),

in order that (hina) the (ho) cosmos (kosmos) may know (ginōskē) that (hoti) you (su) sent (apesteilas) me (me), and (kai) you loved (ēgapēsas) them (autous) down according to as (kathōs) you loved (ēgapēsas) me (eme).
John 17:24 (LIT/UBS4) Father (pater), for that which (ho) you have given (dedōkas) to me (moi), I desire (thelō) that (hina) where (hopou) I (egō) am (eimi) those ones also (kakeinoi) may be (ōsin) with (met') me (emou);
in order that (hina) they may observe (theōrōsin) the (tēn) glory (doxan), the (tēn) [glory, RE] [being] mine (emēn) which (hēn) you have given (dedōkas) to me (moi), because (hoti) you loved (ēgapēsas) me (me) before (pro) [a/the] downthrow (katabolēs) of [the] cosmos (kosmou).

John 17:25 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) righteous (dikaie) Father (pater), the (ho) cosmos (kosmos) absolutely did not know (ouk egnō) you (se)!
But (de) I (egō) knew (egnōn) you (se), and (kai) these ones (houtoi) knew (egnōsan) that (hoti) you (su) sent (apesteilas) me (me).
John 17:26 (LIT/UBS4) And (kai) I made known (egnōrisa) to them (autois) the (to) name (onoma) of you (sou), and (kai) I shall make [the name of you, RE] known (gnōrisō);
in order that (hina) the (hē) love (agapē) [with, AE] which (hēn) you loved (ēgapēsas) me (me) may be (ē) in (en) them (autois), and I (kagō) in (en) them (autois)!”
